Founder’s Message

Stephanie Richardson

When I created CYO, it wasn’t just about cycling. It was about creating a space where people could connect reset and rice. I wanted a studio where showing up wasn’t about perfection but about progress. A place where music moves you, community holds you and every drop of sweat reminds you what you’re capable of.

Before CYO, I served 13 years and 9 months in the military retiring just three years ago. I was the Master Fitness Trainer for my brigade, designing and implementing training programs at a level that mirrors, corporate operations in the civilian world. I hold certifications in HIIT, group fitness, nutrition and cycling, but despite all that transition into civilian life was hard. I found myself starting over in a world I knew little about, searching for a way to translate my experience into something meaningful outside of my uniform.

CYO became that bridge- not just for me, but for others. I wanted to build this space not only to help people move and grow but to open doors for anyone with the passion for Fitness who needs a place to start. Whether you’re stepping into your first class or looking to build a future in this industry, this is a space for you to show up learn and lead.

CYO stands for more than cycling. It stands for Choosing Your Own path, power and purpose. Whether you’re climbing hills or riding through life’s flat roads I’m here to ride with you.

Let’s Ride,

Stephanie Richardson
